Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a perennial herbaceous plant. The rhizome is thick, creeping, and branched. The stems are solitary, and up straight. The flowers are small, white or pink in color, collected in small inflorescences – baskets, which in flip form a not unusual corymbose inflorescence from a lot of baskets. The fruit is a flat, oblong silver-gray achene. Yarrow blooms from June to the tip of summer, the seeds ripen in July – September.
