Prepare your bowl and measure desired amount of kava into the strainer bag. 3 Tablespoons (15g) mixes into 1 liter (33.8oz) of water. Knead and massage for 5-10 minutes in kava strainer and strain. Kava should be strained before consuming. Squeeze as much liquid from the strainer bag and discard used kava powder. It’s tradition in Fiji to clap, say “Bula!” drink all of the cup and follow up with three additional claps.
