Description
We gave this outstanding new barberry the name Sunjoy Todo because it actually does have it all: deeply colorful glossy foliage, bright flowers, a neat and useful habit, and absolutely no worries about invasiveness. Like other barberries, it offers low-maintenance color to sunny spots and is highly resistant to deer. Sunjoy Todo barberry may be unlike other barberries in that it’s semi-evergreen, keeping the leaves at the ends of its branches all year-round for a touch of four season interest. Though the golden spring blooms do develop red berries, there’s no seed within, as proven in a couple of rounds of university testing.
