MW Polar’s Black Garlic is aged and cured to perfection with no additives or preservatives. It only contains one ingredient- garlic. Whilst being cured in controlled heat chambers, the garlic undergoes the Maillard reaction transforming the garlic completely. Through this transformation, the antioxidants of the black garlic doubles the antioxidants found in normal black garlic. Black garlic originated in Asia and is now all of the rage here in the States. Black garlic’s popularity spread all across the country Whilst being highly sought-after for its use in high-end cuisines. Unlike regular garlic, black garlic is sweet and mild like balsamic vinegar or tamarind. It’s the easiest combination of sweet and savory.

One Ingredient- Garlic. Our Black Garlic is Pesticide & Chemical Free. There are no additives at all all the way through the production process and is certified by GMP & HACCP Standards. Soils and irrigation water from the garlic farm undergo heavy testing to be sure that they’re free from heavy metals and pesticides before they’re imported to the US.
Taste- Black Garlic is Naturally Sweet, and has a Mild Yet Savory Taste. It’s the easiest mix between sweet & savory with a mixture of rich molasses & a slight garlic undertone. Can also be enjoyed as in or cooked in your favorite foods.
Texture- Black Garlic’s texture is very similar to fried fruit, a bit jelly-like and is completely different from raw pungent garlic.
