Piper’s Pony Tales is a pre-cool show about a girl who has big dreams. The show speaks to a stage in a child’s life where the power of imagination makes everything imaginable. Each episode is sparked by the emergence of Piper’s fantasy which catapults her into adventures that are the aspirational stuff of dreams come true. It is there where she experiences first freedoms and first failures that come with exploring what it means to have increased independence and responsibility.
Through imaginative play, Piper transports herself, her friends, Paloma and Casey, and their pony pals into the story she’s telling and to places filled with people from far and wide the world and where cultural diversity is valued, supported and respected. It’s a world filled with exciting and unexpected adventures, first freedoms, and of course, horses!

PIPER
Piper is an optimistic free spirit whose vivid imagination is constantly working overtime, imagining adventures she could go on. Sometimes, she can be a bit too eager, wanting things to happen right away and she learns, sometimes the hard way, that “first freedoms” are earned, but when you do it’s an amazing feeling.
SPARK
Spark is also spirited and energetic but can steadily be spooked when faced with new situations and experiences and steadily has to be coaxed from hiding; but luckily his best pal’s positive attitude gives him the confidence he needs to carry on. And, because he loves to eat, his favorite Spark Snacks will all the time motivate him too.
PALOMA
Paloma’s the type of kid who would love to spend time grooming a horse and making it look exactly right, then taking it out for a competition and getting tens across the board! Rayna teaches her that it’s okay to not all the time get it perfectly right; sometimes you want to go easy on yourself and just have fun!
RAYNA
Rayna is a study in opposites. She is both a show pony, born for the spotlight and all the time determined to win but she also loves to get dirty – there isn’t a puddle she can resist – maybe because she knows if she gets muddy, she will get groomed again?
CASEY
Casey is Piper’s neighbor and a bundle of boyish energy who loves horses. In fact, his favorite action hero fantasies all involve horses: medieval knights, pioneer town Sheriffs and even masked desert Princes! But unlike Piper and Paloma, Casey doesn’t actually know much about horses. Luckily, Casey isn’t the kind of kid to let a tiny detail like that get in the way of getting into a saddle and having fun! He can be a bit hesitant once in a even as but he all the time has Tuck to push him along.
TUCK
Tuck is a younger horse and playful like a puppy. His playfulness makes him unafraid to check out new things and he will steadily pull Casey to check out new experiences with him. If Casey is scared, Tuck is right there, nudging from in the back of. After all, it’s all a big game to Tuck. When he’s back at the barn, the playing never stops and his favorite toy – apart from his unicorn stuffy – is a ball, of any size.
