Description

In nature, Boldo (Peumus boldus) grows within the central regions of Chile and Argentina. Boldo is an evergreen tree as much as 7 m high, on occasion growing like a shrub. The leaves of the plant are elliptical in shape, rounded on the end, the skin of the leaves is quite tuberous, covered from above and below by bubble-like bulges with tiny hairs. Flowers are dioecious, in short paniculate end and axillary inflorescences.
