A good smell will reveal the earthy presence of herbs, coconut oil, and beeswax, and nothing else. 2 This salve has castor oil added, to give it extra emollient and soothing properties. 3 Touchy Skin Salve contains organic licorice root added to the oil infusion. Licorice contains glycyrrhizic acid, which helps optimize the natural cortisol produced by the body in response to inflammation, as in the case with eczema.
